Jared Brenner

Jared Brenner is a Partner of the Firm.

Jared advises technology companies and their investors at all stages of growth, on matters including venture capital financings, complex licensing transactions, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, employee compensation, and securities law compliance. He has routinely served as outside general counsel for startups in a variety of industries, including media, education, life sciences, and finance. He also regularly represents entertainment talent establishing joint ventures for lifestyle and consumer products brands, and in other investment transactions and acquisitions.

In addition to his corporate practice, Jared is active in the music industry as an advisor to independent artists, songwriters, musicians and producers, operating as a hybrid attorney who handles both core entertainment transactions -- such as label deals, publishing agreements, and catalog sales -- as well as strategic corporate counsel for talent looking to build, invest in, and exit their businesses. He has served on the board of the trade association Songwriters of North America since 2020 and joined the Recording Academy in 2026.

Earlier in his career, Jared practiced in the emerging companies and venture capital group at an AmLaw 50 international law firm in New York.
